THREE MEDALS FOR INNOVATIONS
The Rostselmash Company products were awarded with three medals at once in the innovating competition held within the frames of Agrosalon International Forum. The gold medal was awarded to the caterpillar drive of VECTOR 450 Track harvester; the silver medals were awarded to thresher of RSM 161 harvester and VERSATILE ML930 12.8m pneumatic seeder. The models of the awarded materiel will be presented at Agrosalon, main specialized forum of the country, which will be held in autumn in Moscow. The awarding of laureates will be carried out at its site.
Total 61 design features in the field of machine-building were declared for the innovating materiel competition. The expert jury, including specialists recommended by the companies-members of exhibition committee, evaluated the applications on such criteria as importance of innovation for practice; advantages for enterprise economy and balance of labor resources; improvement of effectiveness and ecological situation; saving of natural resources and improvement of soil fertility; impact on safety and facilitation of labor. As a result of strict selection, only 19 of presented works were awarded with medals, including 4 golden and 15 silver ones.

VECTOR 450 TRACK HARVESTER CATERPILLAR DRIVE (GOLD MEDAL)
Unique elastic-balancing suspension of the caterpillar drive allows to copy the field unevenness with height up to 250mm without the reaper swaying, provides minimal pressure on soil with alternating contact patch (depending on filling the grain tank), high maneuverability, and ability of comfort driving along general purpose roads. The harvester is the only decision for working in fields with excessively humid soil.
RSM 161 HARVESTER THRESHER (SILVER MEDAL)
Unique threshing-separating device provides the improvement of the harvester efficiency by 10-15% due to special design of inclined chamber, threshing drum, concave, and other elements. As opposed to the existing decisions, it allows to achieve high threshing and stable processing without lowering the grain quality. It is especially effective when working with excessively dried or humid crops.
VERSATILE ML930 12.8М PNEUMATIC SEEDER (SILVER MEDAL)
The innovation of the ML seeder consists of ALIVE seed-embedding patented technology, which allows the operator to choose the seed-embedding profile for various cultures from the tractor cabin. It is equipped with independent ploughshare with completely mechanical suspension (without hydraulic cylinders) and independent control of loading on the ploughshare and the roller. The seeder maintains the seed-embedding depth and packing profile in any soil condition in automatic mode.
