Rostselmash in Zimbabwe

The representatives of African countries have shown great interest in cooperation with Rostselmash company following the results of manufacturer participation in the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.

Rostselmash participated in ZITF (Zimbabwe International Trade Fair), the largest interregional exhibition in Southern Africa that is held annually in Bulawayo, the second largest city of Zimbabwe. The International Exhibition Centre hosting the exhibition comprises 6 pavilions with a total area of 56 thousand square meters. ZITF was attended by about 700 domestic and foreign companies, and over 50,000 people have been visiting the exhibition daily. The companies from 27 countries, including European, Asian, African, and North American countries, represented 26 business areas, including the agricultural machinery.

Rostselmash stand at the international fair was visited by D.V. Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The dialogue included the discussion of such key issues as possible ways to enter the Zimbabwean market and its particular features, possible cooperation options and schemes, as well as key aspects to be taken into account while operating at the country’s market and similar African markets.

The major stand of the company drove aroused interest from Zimbabwe administration. The visitors of Rostselmash exhibition included Robert Mugabe, the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, the Vice President of Zimbabwe, Mike Bimha, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, the President of Togo, and several other representatives of the government and ministries of Zimbabwe.

Given the fact that the agricultural industry in Zimbabwe and Africa is almost completely based on manual labour and lacks machine processing, the modern, powerful, and highly efficient agricultural machinery produced by Rostselmash involves significant interest among the economies and households of the continent. The representatives of Zimbabwe and other African countries have shown great interest in cooperation with the company and in supplies of VECTOR harvesters that fit the region’s agricultural background the most.
