Rostselmash Received the Delegation from the Kingdom of Sweden

On October 12, a large delegation from the Kingdom of Sweden visited Rostselmash. It was headed by Peter Ericson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The visit took place within the Days of Sweden in the Rostov Region that were held in the capital of the Don region on October 11 to 13. The program of the large-scale and multi-faceted three-day event included the meetings with some representatives of business circles. They could present their projects, familiarise themselves with the investment potential of the Russian region, and take part in the Russian-Swedish contact exchange platform.

As reported by the Regional Ministry for Economic Development, the foreign trade turnover of the Rostov Region with the Kingdom of Sweden at the end of the first six months of 2016 has shown a significant growth.  Compared with the same period in 2015, it has increased by 11.6%. Definitely, the potential of the bilateral cooperation is really high. Closer and direct contacts between or among businessmen of the both countries are required to use this potential. For this purpose, the guests of the Rostov Region were provided with the opportunity to visit a number of the Don companies dominating the business in the region and in Russia. 

One of the first companies visited by the Scandinavian delegation was Rostselmash, where it familiarised itself with the agricultural machines and the manufacturing process. The Swedish businessmen approved of the high level of technology and a broad product range. At the end of the visit, the representatives of Rostselmash, the Swedish companies, and the economic divisions of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in Russia exchanged contact and other details, which are useful for building cooperation.
