The Rostselmash and Kazakhstan cooperation is consolidated

The Rostselmash Company concluded Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation with Kazagrofinance PLC. The signing of the document was in Astana on June 23, 2013. Joint assembly of VECTOR 410KZ harvesters in facilities of Vector Harvester Factory LLC will be carried out within the frames of the contract. Fulfillment of this project will allow to renew the park of agricultural materiel of the Republic. The signing of the memorandum will also give great pulse for further development of relationship between two countries, experience exchange, training and active interaction in the field of the machine-building.

At present, the need of Kazakh agrarians in materiel is generally covered by imported machines. Therefore, the issue of settling of own assembly production is keenly stood. Starting of this Kazakh-Russian project will allow to reduce the cost of final product and the materiel delivery term. But the most important thing is the fact, that the joint assembly production in Kokshetau city will significantly renew the harvester park in Kazakhstan.
This agreement was achieved within the frames of realization of the Message of Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakh Republic, on developing the partnership with the Russian Federation, as well as within the frames of realization of the joint project on the materiel assembly.

As per preliminary information, the Kazakh share in the project of joint assembly production of VECTOR 410KZ harvester will be more than 20%. Besides the financing, the cooperation will be in the direction of experience and information exchange, training of KazAgroFinance staff at the Rostselmash facilities, involving the Rostselmash expert for working in Kazakhstan. Within the frames of the project, KazAgroFinance PLC will continue the purchasing of materiel produced at Vector Harvester Factory LLC for further handing-over the materiel for leasing to Kazakh customers. The issues of arranging the joint assembly of other materiel in the territory of Kazakhstan will be considered additionally.

As per Gumar Rakhimjanov, CEO of KazAgroFinance PLC, conclusion of this memorandum can be the considerable step for development of series of new productions on assembly of accessible materiel for agrarians in the Republic.

The Rostselmash Company delivers materiel to Kazakh territory for more than 50 years. Rostselmash and KazAgroFinance PLC cooperate in the field of materiel purchasing for more than 10 years. The Rostselmash harvesters share in the grain-harvesting materiel park of the country comprises 42 %. More than 20 000 units of the Rostselmash harvesters participated in harvesting season in 2012. Since the year of 2000, KazAgroFinance PLC purchased 2900 units of the Rostselmash materiel for further handing-over them to agricultural leasing, what comprises 52% of total sales of the company in Kazakhstan
